PreProm Checklist: 2 week Countdown

It's crunch time, girls. You've purchased your dress, hopefully stuck to your budget and kept up the healthy habits. With two weeks to go before your big night, let's go over a few very important items that should top your two week checklist.

1) Check in with your appointments. The last thing you want is to show up at the salon only to find you're nowhere on the list.

2) Keep up the healthy habits! Begin taking vitamins to give your skin a healthy glow and boost your metabolism and energy. Keep eating healthy and exercising. Cut caffeine and soda. This will help you feel slender and less bloated.

3) Try on your dress. Last minute alterations can still be made. Your body won't change significantly in two weeks unless you crash on fast food and become a serious couch potato. But you wouldn't do that. You've got a prom to get to!

4) If you ordered your dress, and it's still not in, check in with the shipper. Make sure things aren't on backorder and that all billing information is correct.

5) Don't forget to call the restaurant to make sure you're party's on the list.

6) Go back to your budget. Are you staying in line or way overspending? A little reassessment might surprise you with a few extra dollars to splurge on jewelry or that great shade of shadow you've been eyeing.

7) Talk to your date. This is a must. Make sure he knows what you're expecting. Will you be buying a corsage? After party plans? Open communication lines not only avoid night-of issues, but will help break the ice if your date is a new acquaintance. Oh, please demand that he doesn't wear a baby blue tux with frills. If that's the case, honey, you're better off going stag.
