Best Length for Your Legs

What makes a great pair legs? The right dress, of course. From short and skinny to tall and curvaceous, there's a length for every leg that looks lovely.

Super long legged girls look great in tea length dresses. With all that leg, make sure you cover enough. A micro mini skirt looks even shorter on long legs. Don't want to give the wrong impression!

Short legs can always pull off a short dress that hits above the knee. This gives the illusion of height, boosting you up a couple inches in your heels.

Skinny legs should stick with sheaths--something fitting that falls to the floor. Anything short and bubbly might give you a scrawny chicken leg look.

Curvy thighs on long legs can be disguised in an A line or empire waist knee-length or longer. While curvy thighs on shorter legs can go for A line above the knee. Either way, stay away from spandex around the thighs.

If you have a slender waist with curvy thighs, try a mermaid-shaped dress that emphasizes your trim tummy.

With muscular calves on short or long legs, you might want to stick with a simple short dress above the knee to attract subtle attention to your athletic build. Not too much flounce and feathers to avoid looking extra poofy.
