Hot Weather Make Up Tips

Um, excuse me, but your face is melting.

The absolute last thing you want to hear about your make up during the hot summer heat. How to avoid becoming a puddle of colorful, lip glossy goop? Tiza's here to help, as usual. Follow these tips for many drip-free summer days with a pretty polished face.

Just like your wardrobe, your skin changes drastically during the summer. Get to know your skin before you brush on blush.

Oily skin? Limit the moisturizer. Only apply to vital areas like under the eyes. This will at least give you a little more time in the sun before your start glowing.

For dry skin, use an oil-free moisturizer during the summer months.

If you're comfy in your skin, ditch the foundation for summer. Let your skin breathe in the heat. This will save you time in the morning and more money for snow cones! If you must wear foundation, don't do multiple layers. The more you cake on, the more that can slough off. Gross.

Embrace your freckles. Don't cover up those angel kisses. Freckles are hot little accessories you don't have to take off. They tell everyone that you've spent time outside and are proud of your skin.

When you get a little color in your face, make sure your concealer still matches. You may need to invest in a concealer a few shades darker depending on how tan you get.

Always wear moisturizer and make up with SPF. No buts about it. Also, remember waterproof mascara and eye liner. Another must.

To avoid obvious melty crinkles on your eyelids, toss the dark colors and go for pearly, luminous shades. Colors to try: peach, ecru, taupe, pale pinks.
