Gossip Girl is so useful! In addition to providing me with an endless supply of writing material and also sartorial inspiration, the epic programme about Upper East Side teens is now also helping us improve our minds. On the show's website, the "characters" (the show's writers! who actually are very smart I would imagine) have posted some top ten lists. My favorite is Dan Humphrey's reading list:
Don't forget: Dan got into Yale! He was published by the New Yorker! I recommend you start with number 5, which is both good and (ahem) relevant.
