Grammys 2010: A night of sartorially low expectations

The Grammys are the singular awards show of the season where one can count on basically everyone wearing something really ugly. (Take a look at some of the Grammy history's worst fashion moments over at Jezebel.) This year was no exception. There were a rare few who graced the ceremony's red carpet in something mildly short of tragic. We've documented them below for your convenience. Just FYI, it is a pretty short list.

Lea Michele

Okay. This is cute, and flattering. Perhaps the only dress of the evening that I wholeheartedly like. (It's also pretty simple, which is to say safe, which is to say, on this occasion, THANK GOD.)

Taylor Swift

Actually, this is a semi-questionable choice on Swifty's part, but she clearly gets that the Grammys are Crazy and Bad dresses. So, by those standards, this is pretty good. "Interesting cut!"

Jennifer Hudson

Oddly classic. And flattering. I like it!

And then, ladies and gentleman, we will just leave you with this one lasting image. I make no commentary on its sartorial merit.
