After the recent drama involving 16-year-old Abby Sunderland, who was briefly lost at sea while attempting the same journey, and the resulting debate about whether or not she should have been allowed to go in the first place, it's no surprise that authorities would be hesitant to approve a much younger teenager for the trip. What do you think? Should parents be allowed to be the ones to decide whether or not their kids are physically and emotionally fit to make such an ambitious journey? Is 14 truly too young?
