This weekend, AMC will debut the season four premiere of their hallmark show, Mad Men. It's a show about an advertising agency in the early 1960s, but in addition to some great writing, the show has provided some great 60s-reminiscent sartorial inspiration. Especially for women.
I would like this dress, please.

The only element of this picture that I don't condone is the cigarette.
The show is styled by Katherine Jane Bryant (who, incidentally, is coming out with a line of her own), and since the show provides such a rich cast of female characters for her to dress, there's also a great variety of style among the (super awesome) women.
First, there's the intrepid, take-no-prisoners Peggy Olson.
I would like this dress, please. Then, we have Joan Holloway -- office siren: smart, sassy, savvy, and gorgeous.

Betty Draper isn't necessarily someone I'd want for a mom -- but I have nothing against her Grace Kelly-esque wardrobe.

And then, of course, there's Don Draper.
