Lady Gaga Announces May Album Release

Finally! Lady Gaga has announced the release of a long-awaited new album -- "Born This Way" -- for May 23, 2011. The pop star's breakthrough record, "The Fame," came out in 2008, and "The Fame Monster" (2009) was initially supposed to be a re-release of her debut. And while "The Fame Monster" was ultimately released as a standalone album, "Born This Way" will be the first totally independent body of Gaga work since, basically, her very first album. She'll release her first single (also the title track) on February 13, 2010.
