Recently, the internet went abuzz with the news that Jennifer Lawrence, the Oscar-nominated star of "Winter's Bone," appears to have been cast in the movie adaptation of "Hunger Games" -- which you should all read, because it is great. But while a few names have been bandied about for the male lead, no one appears to have been cast yet -- which, naturally, is cause for much hand-wringing and rampant speculation.
Entertainment Weekly asked Robert Pattinson -- a teen franchise veteran, at this point -- what his take on the movie was. "It's good! It will be a good movie," he said. "I sort of came across it last year, and I didn't realize it was the most enormous thing in the year."
Pattinson then offered some insights about the potential perils to playing to such an ... intense fan base.
"The only horrible thing about being part of a franchise...well, not horrible...no, it is horrible...is that the bigger and bigger you get, it's quite difficult to break out of stuff. When you've been playing the same part, you can't suddenly start playing it differently. It takes away a little bit of the creative kind of ... urge."
Are you excited for the movie to come out?
