Why people should be able to wear whatever they want to the prom

tca_glee_prom.jpgAs you know, we at Tiza love a good prom dress. (Duh.) But it makes us sad that, at some schools, young women are forced to wear dresses to the prom.

After all, what's the fun of expressing yourself through what you wear (something for which we are obviously strong advocates over here) if someone else is limiting what you can or can't say?

At Terrebonne Parish school in Louisiana, a young woman is being denied the right to wear what she chooses to the prom.

The situation reeks of discrimination, which isn't cool.

We say, let the girl wear what she feels best in! After all, everyone wants to look and feel great at the prom. And that can be kind of hard to do if someone's trying to tell you who to be and how to dress.
