Did you guys get up at 5am to watch the royal wedding? We did! After all, how could we miss an opportunity to check out a slew of beautiful gowns? And there were so many of them! But first, let's focus on the morning's main event: Kate Middleton's stunning wedding gown. The dress, designed by Alexander McQueen's Sarah Burton, is reminiscent of Grace Kelly's wedding dress, but with a few modern (and Kate-inspired) touches. Middleton, apparently a big fan of the V-neck, chose a low-dipping, delicate lace overlay atop the white gown -- the train of which, notably, was about 15 feet shorter than Princess Diana's was at her marriage. (Then again, Princess Diana was only 20 at the time of her marriage; who can blame her for wanting a long train??)
Kate also wore a tiara borrowed from the Queen! Pretty much as regal as a girl can get. Check out a full-length shot after the jump!
Let us know what you think of Kate's dress!
