Thought Kate Middleton's marriage to Prince William was a big deal? According to Khloe Kardashian, the royal wedding was nothing but a minor affair in comparison to her sister's upcoming nuptials.
Kim Kardashian, the sister in question (also a multifaceted business mogul/reality television star), recently got engaged to longtime boyfriend, basketball player Khris Humphries.
And while her sister didn't reveal any specifics about the upcoming affair, Khloe said that if nothing else, it was going to be major.
"It's going to be royal wedding number two," Khloe told E! Online. "I could only imagine Kim having the hugest wedding."

A lesson in being a responsible prom-goer -- and general teenager at large. As the Associated Press reports, nearly 25 percent of the kids at a Staten Island high school are being banned from the prom for getting caught drinking -- on Facebook.
That's right, the kids posted on Facebook pictures of a night of debauchery -- during which a number of them got drunk on the football field and proceeded to vandalize school property -- and the principal at Moore Catholic High in Staten Island decided to ban them all (fifty students in all) from the event.
So, if you want to get to go to the senior prom? (And also succeed generally in life?) A little advice: stay away from the booze!
We do too! And for good reason: the rising young star isn't just a great singer (which she is) -- she recently raised $50,000 for cancer research through her charity, Voice of an Angel.

This was a BIG week on American idol. In dramatic top three round, Lauren Alaina, Scot McCreery, and Hailey Reinhart battled it out to stay in the game -- and make it to the final round.

So we couldn't be happier about the news the award-winning artist this weekend tied the knot with boyfriend Blake Shelton!
According to People magazine, the couple got hitched Saturday night at the a San Antonio, Texas-area ranch. And there were some high-profile friends in tow for the big event: Guests included Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley, Reba McIntyre and Kelly Clarkson.
The musically-inclined couple (Shelton is a judge on the television show "The Voice") have been dating for six years, and he apparently proposed last May in Lambert's Oklahoma hometown.
Congratulations to the happy couple! We can't wait to see what the lovely duo wore to the wedding!
In case you hadn't heard, Bridesmaids came out this weekend. The movie, co-written by and starring Kristen Wiig, has caused a major hubbub in certain circles -- because not that many funny movies by and about (but like, really about) funny ladies come out that often, and people were really banking on this one doing well.
Well hey, guess what?! It did! Bridesmaids has gotten roundly amazing reviews and is set to rake in about $21 million this weekend -- coming in second place only to Thor, an enormous-budget summer superhero flick. (Which, critically speaking, is said to be nowhere close to Bridesmaids, quality-wise.)
Why did Bridesmaids do so well? Duh! It's funny! It's about smart, funny, original women characters who are concerned with things other than their boyfriends, and it is so hilarious that it will make you cry. Pretty self-explanatory, right?

You may not know Lindsey Wixson's name -- yet -- but if you've opened a fashion magazine in the last couple months, you almost certainly have seen her face.
The 17-year-old Wichita, Kansas native is the latest small-town American teenager to break into the fashion industry's bigtime: In recent months Wixson has become one of the most in-demand models on the scene.
And while the 17-year-old supermodel surely enjoys some perks in her new life, that doesn't mean she wants to miss out on the joys of being a normal teenage girl. So she scored herself an invite to the prom -- and a custom-made Jason Wu prom dress to wear with it.

This year marked the 16th anniversary of Harvard's annual Eleganza fashion show -- which raises money for Boston's Center for Teen Empowerment.
The yearly event aims to promote multiculturalism, diversity, and artistic expression through fashion, dance and theater -- and it's one of the school's biggest events. This year, the fashion show raised more than $5,000 for a great cause!

We know you've been anxiously awaiting the "Glee" prom episode. (Don't try to deny it.) And while the show's cast and crew has so far kept fairly mum on details for the much anticipated episode, "Glee" star Lea Michele (who plays Rachel on the show) spilled just a little bit about some of the big show's details.
She also spoke a little about her own prom experience -- which she said paled in comparison with the show's big affair.
"This one was in the gym, mine was at some rooftop in New York City," Lea Michele said in a recent interview, of the 'Glee' prom vs. that of her own youth.
"I preferred this one so much more!" she added. "There were these balloons in the ceiling and they fell down while we were dancing and doing the final number, and I just really felt like anything that I didn't get to live out in my actual prom I really got to filming this episode."

Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon welcomed their new babies into the world on Sunday! The twins, one boy and one girl, have yet to be named, but Cannon took to Twitter to express his happiness.
"My wife just gave me the most incredible anniversary gift ever in life! I won't ever be able to top this!" Cannon, 30, Tweeted.
Indeed, today marks the couple's three-year-anniversary. Congrats to the happy family!
