Angelina Jolie made an appearance on CBS' "60 Minutes" this week, and the 36-year-old actress opened up to the show about being a good mother, her perceptions of her own looks, and what her own mom was like.
Here are a few choice quotes from the episode.
"I always felt not traditionally beautiful. I have big features...as I get older I look like my mom. And I love my mom. You start to kinda put your lineage in line of the different things you are. I see the Native American in me; I can see the German from my father's side and you come to love the combination," Jolie told CBS.
"As long as Brad [Pitt] thinks I'm beautiful...I wake up and I want to be a smarter person. But I feel like that's certainly what I'm encouraging my girls to do," she added.
Jolie called her own mother "grace incarnate."
"My mother was a full-time mother," Angelina said. "She didn't have much of her own career, her own life, her own experiences ... everything was for her children, I will never be as good a mother as she was. She was just grace incarnate. She was the most generous, loving - she's better than me."

On last night's Saturday Night Live, several celebrities stopped by: Paul Rudd, Jon Huntsman, and Olivia Wilde all made cameos -- but we were particularly thrilled to see the Muppets take the stage.
As ever, they added their signature je ne sais quois to the show, and the whole episode had that special Muppet cheer.

We can't say it's much of a surprise -- but Twilight earned $283.5 million at the box office this weekend, proving that American teenagers (and, presumably, some other people) are still really into vampire romances.
And we can't blame them! This movie, it would seem, pretty much has it all: love, marriage, sex, vampire babies, etc.

If not, you should! If for no other reason than you may spot the occasional Sherri Hill fashion while doing so.
In the most recent episode, Dalia (played by actress Carly Chaikin) and a bunch of other cast members wore Sherri Hill cocktail gowns to a Sweet Sixteen birthday party.
At this year's AMAs, Taylor Swift tied Adele with three wins -- but the country popstar ultimately beat out her British competitor -- along with Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, and Lil Wayne -- to claim the coveted Artist of the Year trophy. It was a pretty exciting night for Ms. Swift (pictured left, in one of her looks for the evening.)

One of our favorite recurring sketches on Saturday Night Live is "Garth and Kat," the, um, quirky musical duo that never seems to have remembered to write any songs in advance of their appearances at the Weekend Update desk.
Last night, Coldplay's Chris Martin made a surprise cameo in the sketch. You must check out his flowing blonde locks and Thanksgiving-themed vest, below.
There are few things in the music industry that are spunkier and more adorable than Willow Smith. The pre-teen singer -- who, if she's dressing like this now, who has any idea what fashions she'll be making cool when she's say, 15 -- has attitude and style. So we were happy to see her perform on this week's "X Factor." Wearing a characteristically outrageous outfit.
She says she's a big fan of the show: "I watch The X Factor almost every night when it comes on. I think it's an amazing show because it gives people space to be who they want to be. Most people have great talent and don't have anybody to sing to or dance to. I think it's awesome," she said in an interview.
It's only a few weeks until Twilight: Breaking Dawn (part 1) comes out, and Kristen Stewart has been making the rounds on television talking about the upcoming movie -- which, needless to say, is going to be a pretty big deal for quite a few teenage girls.
In a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Stewart talked about shooting the wedding scene for the film -- and she said it was a pretty emotional moment.
"It felt too real almost," Stewart told Kimmel. "It was coming to the end of the whole series, and maybe it feels like this at normal weddings, but it wasn't just about me and him. It was like, 'God, you guys. Good job.' You know what I mean? Like we made it. So it felt great. It felt like a real ceremony, it was weird."

This year's Country Music Awards were a star-studded affair -- and the Southern-skewing crowd sure did get decked out for the affair.
Taylor Swift, at left, wore a romantic white gown when accepting the crown as "entertainer of the year" -- making her the second woman ever to win that award twice.
Jason Aldean won Album of the Year for "My Kind of Party" -- which included a duet with Kelly Clarkson, and The Band Perry won single and song of the year for "If I Die Young."

This week, Katy Perry debuted the video for her track "One Who Got Away" -- which is a little bit different from some of her wilder videos. It's a bittersweet love song, and Perry says she hopes her audience will get something out of it.
"This song shows a very different side of me that I haven't shown with my past singles on this record. I think that everyone can relate to this song," the singer has said about the song.
"I wrote this song about when you promise someone forever, but you end up not being able to follow through. It's a bittersweet story - hopefully, the listener learns from hearing it and never has to say they had 'The One get away," she added.

Perhaps it was inevitable: Taylor Swift has acquired the cutest kitten on the planet. Its name, Meredith, is rather unorthodox for a kitten, but this particular Meredith's insane adorableness completely makes up for it.
Plus, it looks like Meredith has some celebrity fans already: Katy Perry has been Tweeting at Swift about her kitten envy ever since Swift started posting pics of her "new roommate" on Twitter.

It's been awhile since someone stormed the stage at the MTV awards -- until now. At MTV Europe Music awards ceremony in Belfast, Ireland, a young gentleman took to the stage in nothing but his... good personality.
Hayden Panettiere, needless to say, looked a little shocked by her visitor.
Also in attendance? Lady Gaga, who took home awards for Best Song, Best Video, Best Female and Biggest Fans, Justin Bieber, Coldplay and many more. But the streaker, obviously, sort of stole the show.
