Angelina Jolie made an appearance on CBS' "60 Minutes" this week, and the 36-year-old actress opened up to the show about being a good mother, her perceptions of her own looks, and what her own mom was like.

Here are a few choice quotes from the episode. 

"I always felt not traditionally beautiful. I have big features...as I get older I look like my mom. And I love my mom. You start to kinda put your lineage in line of the different things you are. I see the Native American in me; I can see the German from my father's side and you come to love the combination," Jolie told CBS.

"As long as Brad [Pitt] thinks I'm beautiful...I wake up and I want to be a smarter person. But I feel like that's certainly what I'm encouraging my girls to do," she added.

Jolie called her own mother "grace incarnate." 

"My mother was a full-time mother," Angelina said. "She didn't have much of her own career, her own life, her own experiences ... everything was for her children, I will never be as good a mother as she was. She was just grace incarnate. She was the most generous, loving - she's better than me."

And we can't blame them! This movie, it would seem, pretty much has it all: love, marriage, sex, vampire babies, etc.

In a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Stewart talked about shooting the wedding scene for the film -- and she said it was a pretty emotional moment. 

"It felt too real almost," Stewart told Kimmel. "It was coming to the end of the whole series, and maybe it feels like this at normal weddings, but it wasn't just about me and him. It was like, 'God, you guys. Good job.' You know what I mean? Like we made it. So it felt great. It felt like a real ceremony, it was weird."

This year's Country Music Awards were a star-studded affair -- and the Southern-skewing crowd sure did get decked out for the affair. 

Taylor Swift, at left, wore a romantic white gown when accepting the crown as "entertainer of the year" -- making her the second woman ever to win that award twice.  

Jason Aldean won Album of the Year for "My Kind of Party" -- which included a duet with Kelly Clarkson, and The Band Perry won single and song of the year for "If I Die Young."
