 With the recent release of the latest Muppet movie, Miss Piggy is, well, making a comeback. The fashionable -- if fictional -- swine of lore has been popping up all over the pages of fashion magazines in recent weeks. Now, MAC cosmetics has given her her own "Miss Piggy for MAC" line.  Teen Vogue's Young Hollywood party is the major fashion event of the season for many among the 18-and-under set: the young stars may not go to many fashion week shows, but they all turn out for the annual mag-sponsored event in Hollywood. This year, everyone from Modern Family's Sarah Hyland (pictured at left) to Prom's Aimee Teegarden came to the party in their Friday night best.

 This week was New York Fashion Week in Manhattan -- and as usual, it was a blast. Particularly because this year Sherri Hill had her very own runway show. And Kendall Jenner, the 15-year-old half sister to Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney Kardashian, made her runway debut in the show!!

 Did you guys pay attention to the CFDA Fashion Awards in New York this week? You should -- not only because it is, ahem, one of the most prominent fashion events of the year (which it is!) but also because Sherri Hill made a pretty excellent appearance there, on the stunning Angela Bellotte. See the gorgeous white jersey gown at left! The awards ceremony took place at the regal Lincoln Center, and Bellotte -- a Victoria's Secret model -- went on the arm of hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons. Check out some pictures of the celeb-studded event here. (Lots of amazing fashions, as is to be expected.) Do you guys love the new Sherri Hill dress?  Do you love rising teen pop star Angelica Salem?We do too! And for good reason: the rising young star isn't just a great singer (which she is) -- she recently raised $50,000 for cancer research through her charity, Voice of an Angel. You may not know Lindsey Wixson's name -- yet -- but if you've opened a fashion magazine in the last couple months, you almost certainly have seen her face. The 17-year-old Wichita, Kansas native is the latest small-town American teenager to break into the fashion industry's bigtime: In recent months Wixson has become one of the most in-demand models on the scene. And while the 17-year-old supermodel surely enjoys some perks in her new life, that doesn't mean she wants to miss out on the joys of being a normal teenage girl. So she scored herself an invite to the prom -- and a custom-made Jason Wu prom dress to wear with it. CNN followed Lindsay to the prom. Check out the video above!  This week, the stars upped their sartorial game at the fashion event of the year: The Metropolitan Costume Institute Gala.The event, which takes place every year in May, features the biggest names in the fashion industry -- and, increasingly, some of Hollywood's more fashionably inclined starlets. This year, the Met honored the late Alexander McQueen. And the guests certainly turned out in their finery. Taylor Swift, at left, mixed her signature princess look with something a little more... avant garde. We think it's gorgeous. What say you?
