kristen-stewart-and-zac-posen-fall-2010-rtw-strapless-floral-lurex-dress-gallery.jpgSure, it's technically a fictional wedding, and the betrothed couple is interspecies human-vampire, but nevertheless: Bella Swann (aka Kristen Stewart) and Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) are getting married. In a movie to be released, I think, sometime next year? Anyway, word on the street is that Zac Posen may be designing the wedding dress for the fictional bride.

When asked to confirm or deny, Posen was coy: "I can't. I don't speak about any of my projects and the reality of her non reality," he said, before adding: "You know I do love a wedding."

So... is it true? Do you want it to be true? (I, for one, think Sherri Hill would do a fine job with such an assignment.) Leave your thoughts in the comments...

Twilight audiences may know her as Alice Cullen, Edward's innocent vampire sister, but actress Ashley Greene is known in PETA circles for her support of Avon, an animal-friendly makeup company.

PETA's "Kind Choices Award" was bequeathed unto Greene for her compassionate decision to represent Avon, which led the cosmetics industry by ending all tests on animals and is widely recognized for its commitment to a cruelty-free testing policy."

Greene was also cited for being a role model to millions of young Twilight fans: PETA's Vice President of Laboratory Investigations, Kathy Guillermo, said that Greene's decision to support makeup companies that don't use animal testing is "encouraging millions of Twilight fans and other young people to choose makeup that's fun, not fatal."

Congrats to the young Twilight star for choosing to be a good example to her fans.
On Jimmy Kimmel this week, the cast of Jersey Shore had the performances of a lifetime ... in a reenactment of Twilight. Definitely worth a watch on a hot summer day! Check out the truly amazing video here:
Get ready, Twihards. You only have four days until the premiere of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is officially released in theaters. How will you pass the time until the big day? You could re-read all of the books in the series -- but depending on how fast you read, this task could take you about four days, or about four years. You could also start planning your outfit for the occasion. For inspiration, check out some of the get-ups the Twilight stars wore to their world premiere, in Los Angeles this week.

Kristen Stewart:

This sort of reminds me of a swan, which is basically the opposite (in my mind) of a vampire. Kstew, always the iconoclast!

Robert Pattinson:

I am not quite sure about the color -- points for adventurousness, however! -- but the fit is quite nice!

Nikki Reed:

Oh, maybe the swan theme was coordinated? Or is this more... Swan Lake? Hard to say?

Ashley Greene:

Greene goes Grecian. Understated, comparatively!

Anna Kendrick:

Short and fun! There is some other stuff going on here but I'm not sure how to get into it.

Dakota Fanning:

Ditto with the short and fun, minus a little bit of the craziness going on.

Taylor Lautner:

The boy does love his Rat Pack look. For good reason!

There appears to be a new trend, wherein comic books are made about the "life stories" of wildly popular (and largely Twilight-related) young celebrities. It happened to Kristen Stewart. So it's only fitting that the latest victim of this strange phenomenon is her on- (and maybe off?-) screen paramour: Robert Pattinson.

Unfortunately, the books are rather bland. Here's a sample of the text from the RPatz comic:

"In November 2007, a fledgling, relatively unknown British actor named Robert Pattinson stepped into Powell's bookstore in Portland, Oregon to prepare for a role an an indie film with a near non-existent budget. Alone."

Sigh. How dreary! But that's nothing in comparison with the art:

If nothing else, young Pattinson is more handsome than this, no? Although, really, what do I know? What do you guys think? Would you buy Fame: Robert Pattinson? (Way to get creative with the title!)

Summit films has confirmed that Twilight: Breaking Dawn will be released in two parts, as blogger JustJared.com has reported. The first of the two installations will be released in theatres on November 18, 2011, and Dreamgirls director Bill Condon will helm both.

Happy Friday!
Totally kidding. It's a huge deal. This weekend, a new clip from Eclipse aired during the MTV Music Video Awards -- and it's every bit as tormented, emotionally wrought, and, you know, Twilight as one would want/expect. The Twilight Saga: Eclipse comes out June 30. Robert Pattinson vs. Taylor Lautner drama guaranteed. Check out the new clip.
Screen shot 2010-05-14 at 12.23.07 AM.png It's the moment you've all been waiting for: the bloodsucking teen heartthrobs of that Twilight movie were finally on Oprah. It was everything you could have asked for and more (mostly): Robert Pattinson went door to door inviting stunned teenagers (not to mention completely insane parents) to invite them to the show. Taylor Lautner went to a sorority house comprised of girls so obsessed with the movie that they have an entire room in their house dedicated to it. Kristen Stewart invited a superfan onstage and gave her the ring she wears in the movie.

Check out a clip of the show:

After what has felt like an eternity of speculation regarding the all-but-confirmed romance regarding Twilight stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, Oprah -- the one and only -- has finally gotten the two to come clean. The duo recently filmed an episode of the show with the media mogul, who allegedly promised to play softball on air in re: their relationship status, if the two would, in exchange, give her the real  gossip. Of course, no one says no to Oprah:

"Oprah agreed beforehand she wouldn't be too hard on [Rob and Kristen] if they told her what was really going on," said an alleged source, who was at the taping of the episode. "Both Rob and Kristen's people and [film studio] Summit then confirmed ahead of time [Rob and Kristen] are together and are dating. One hundred percent."

The episode, in which presumably no information is revealed whatsoever, will air on May 13.

It seems like eternity since there's been news of any suitably juicy Twilight-related dealmaking. No longer! Summit entertainment has just named the director for the fourth and final episode in the Twilight Saga -- Breaking Dawn -- and fans won't be disappointed. Bill Condon, recipient of an Oscar and the director of Dreamgirls, has signed on to the project, and seems to have ambitious goals for it.

He says: "I'm very excited to get the chance to bring the climax of this saga to life on-screen. As fans of the series know, this is a one-of-a-kind book - and we're hoping to create an equally unique cinematic experience."

Seems like a choice that the artsily-oriented stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson would appreciate.
